Before that however I was a bar manager living in Brisbane, Australia.

I grew up on the Far North Coast of Australia and spent most of my adult life in the city of Brisbane.

 I'd chosen a career in hospitality management and spent the last 8 years working in that role.

Although I enjoyed the work, shift rosters had taken a toll on my health and fatigue.

 The loss of social connection due to working weekends away from friends and family was also impacting my life trajectory.

I decided I needed to make a drastic change and had a strong desire to work for myself.

One day, after returning home exhausted from a night shift, I sat down and googled ways to make a side income. That decision sent me on an incredible adventure into the world of e-commerce and online business.

Over the years I launched several products and had many failures before my successes. Some of my earlier projects included camping sandbag weights, pet water bottles, a camping solar shower and a beard wash.

 I also run a successful 3d printing store on Esty and woo-commerce, a project of passion outside my main role as business specialist.
